Derision is my language of love

*Oh the irony of this post, written before Loony went out of town.

The otherwise stoic Tabby reached out to me in rare moment of vulnerability.

Her husband is out of town and she misses him. I can’t imagine her ever admitting this to anyone so I tried to respond with helpfulness and compassion. It’s not what she wanted.

Fortunately criticism and derision are my love languages.

Snap out of it Tabby! And really, come get the little dog if you need someone to snuggle with at night. Or are you afraid you’ll realize you don’t need Matt when you have The Little Dog?

Really? No way.
