Lego Firewalk With Me

This photo showed up on George Takei’s Facebook feed today and as a parent, I felt a deep connection.

My feet hurt just looking at this.

Both Moneypenny and I saw it at the same time (she’s in the other room) and while I recoiled in fear, she stepped up to the plate.

So here it is, Moneypenny does the Lego Firewalk!

She is a newly minted pole dance instructor at Vertical Fusion (my home studio) and pretty much the most badass up-and-coming pole dancer I know.

She got that bicep shiner from working on a new transition from Janeiro to Batwing

She got that bicep shiner from working on a new transition from Janeiro to Batwing. Legos got nothing on pole.

What will her next test of strength be?

  1. This is awesome and I feel like it should a new segment on your blog. It will be the pole dancer challange and it has to be a non pole feat of strength or randomness sort of like will it float.

  2. Agreed. Complete badass.

You, however, are a sadist. Only you would then think of having her carry someone piggyback as she went back through!

I bow to her complete toughness.

  3. I think walking on 10,000 legos is way easier than stepping on 1 lego…But she’s still a total badass.

  4. I think walking on 10,000 Legos would hurt less than stepping on one Lego, especially in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom, but she’s still a total badass.
