What I Do For My Friends

This lovely lady is my friend Cushie. She called me from her floor today, she said she couldn’t get up.

I was like, “Do you want me to call 911?! Don’t go towards the light!” There was a little part of me that felt smug about being the person she called when at death’s door.

It turns out she has a pinched nerve and has been more or less on the floor for the last two days and after eating a bagel and two muffins, got bored and decided to call me. Whatever. I’ll take what I can get. I loves her.

She said that it was a two hour wait at her Doc-In-A-Box in LA so she’s hoping to get better by waiting it out. Then I had a brainstorm! I am going to go see Braco and bring a picture of him (he says it works) and maybe for $8 she’ll be healed! Or I’ll get a decent post out of it. I’m leaving now! Wish me luck.

  1. Pam and I were thinking we may want to crash the thing and see if we can screw up all the healing energy for everyone else; but I need good karma right now so I will just accept his loving gaze and try not to be an asshole about it.
